President, Industrial Services

A graduate in applied physics and instrumentation from CIT Cork and time served technician, Derek has 25 years experience in the industrial environment. This includes roles as Project & Construction Manager for large pharma companies for 10 years and managing director of CEI for 4 years with responsibility for significant electrical, instrumentation & communication works in the industrial, commercial & residential sectors. Derek joined Wood Group Industrial Services Limited as an Industrial Services Director in 2010 before taking on the role as President in August 2017.

Sally Ventress

Vice President, Finance

Sally has been with Wood Group Industrial Services Limited since 2012 after a successful career in corporate finance management. Sally is responsible for the financial control, management and reporting across industrial services.

Kevon Daymond

Operations Director, Marine

With more than 30 years experience working in the UK marine industry, Kevon’s experience spans a wide range of projects including: naval and commercial vessel refits as well as new ship building contracts.

John O'Donnell

Operations Director, Marine New Build

A graduate in electrical engineering with post graduate qualifications in power engineering and business, John has more than 30 years experience working across industrial sectors including defence, construction and utilities. He currently manages the Ship Support Services Ltd (SSSL) JV company, which is providing industrial support services for the UK QEC aircraft carrier programme.

Chris Foulkes

Director, Process and Energy

Chris joined our team in 2016 and is heading the Process and Energy Division, covering all of England.

Chris joins Wood having previously been the Managing Director where he led a business employing over 3500 people across the UK, Ireland and Kazakhstan with an annual turnover of circa £110million.

Alex Brown

Operations Director, Process and Energy

Alex has been with the company since 2005 and has over 25 years senior management experience in the UK industrial services market working mainly throughout the Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Power Generation markets. Accomplished in all areas with particular expertise in Estimating, Budgeting/Costing, Contractual and Operational issues, Alex heads up our Process and Energy Division for Scotland.

Darren Hall

Operations Director, Construction and Environmental Services

A trained quantity surveyor with over 30 years experience of working on engineering and construction projects. Darren has over 14 years service with Wood Group Industrial Services Limited and previously worked for John Laing and Tolent Limited.

Stephen Corden

Operations Director, Scaffold Services

With over 30 years of experience, Stephen enhances our Management Team, by bringing in vital access systems and scaffold design skills. Having BEng Hons in Civil and Structural Engineering, he leads our scaffold operations and in-house design teams.

John McQueenie

Business Manager, Offshore Division

John has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry delivering fabric maintenance services.He has previously worked for Stork Technical Services for over 20 years and was a Fabric Maintenance Product Line Manager for the past two years before joining Wood Group Industrial Services’ Offshore Division.

Ian Ramsey

Business Manager, Shell NSP

With 18 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, Ian has worked both onshore and offshore, leading operations for EPC, O&M and Maintenance services for Wood Group key clients. He currently is a Business Manager for our large onshore gas plants contract, delivering various industrial services to our client.

Brendan Fitzsimons

Technical Services Director

A post-graduate in materials science with 36 years experience of protective coatings projects in the off-shore, marine and rail industries. Brendan has 14 years service with Wood Group Industrial Services Limited and previously held senior positions with Rigblast Group Limited and Barrier Limited.

Martin Plumb

Commercial Director

Martin has over 30 years post graduate experience and is a professionally trained Quantity Surveyor. He has a wide range of contract and commercial experience across all sectors of the construction industry, including: heavy industrial, petrochemical, civil engineering, aviation, road and rail, oil and gas, commercial and residential.

Martin joined Wood Group Industrial services in 2011.
