WGIS has the following job opportunities: -

(1) NSP/FIM LOLER Supervisor

Wood Group Industrial Services are looking to recruit an NSP/FIM LOLER Supervisor at our onsite facility in Peterhead. 

This position is a long term contract subject to a probationary period. The successful candidate would be expected to commence employment on Tuesday 5^th January 2016. Working hours are 38 hours per week Monday - Friday.

Having demonstrated relevant industry experience in a similar role, the successful candidate must hold the following certification as a minimum: 

• NVQ level 3 Moving Loads
• OPITO Approved Rigging Assessment (Stage 3)
• LOLER Planning and Risk Assessment
• OPITO Approved Banksman / Slinger Operations (Stage 3)     
• Lifting Gear Inspection/Examiner
• Relevant Supervisory Experience
• A minimum of 5 years previous experience in Lifting Operations
• Microsoft Office Experience

Purpose of Position:

The NSP/FIM LOLER Supervisor will be the primary point of contact at site for lifting operations. The role will be to ensure all Lifting Operations on our sites are carried out in accordance with Shell UIE group standard lifting and hoisting operations, and ensuring that all activities under their control are carried out safely and in accordance with prevailing legislation.

Please Note: Candidates who are local to the surrounding area of Peterhead would be of preference.

(2) Business Development Manager

Wood Group Industrial Services Limited is a successful, multi-discipline company providing industrial services such as coatings application, insulation, access, steelwork and construction services to various sectors of Industry including offshore, marine, rail, power, oil and gas. The company currently employs over 2,000 people and due to expansion is looking to strengthen our existing Busines Development team.

The successful candidate will report to the Business Development Director and must have a proven track record in sales and marketing.
